They were required to possess a strong network with corporate finance houses, as well as international experience within consumer products.

Process

From holding open conversations with the business founder, we understood and advised that this was not a project to be completed within our usual timeframes.

In total, we recommended a period of 3-6 months, ultimately ensuring the founder had complete confidence and satisfaction in the process and what it was aiming to achieve, and aligning with the company’s end of fiscal year.

We supported the client in end-to-end management of the process, involving concept, plan, intros, timeframes, scheduling, and weekly catch ups with both the client and the successful candidate.

The successful candidate was a proven Non-Executive within our network, with a strong track record of consumer goods sales and available for their next non-exec position

Crucially, they had previously managed multiple transactions within the associated product category.

The client is in the first year of their two-year plan, which is forecast to complete on schedule.
