Position Overview:

As the Business Development Manager, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the company’s market presence and driving revenue growth within the stationery, hygiene, workwear, and interiors sectors. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategic sales plans, identifying new business opportunities, and nurturing relationships with both existing and prospective customers. Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic sales plans to achieve revenue targets and business objectives.
  • Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the stationery, hygiene, workwear, and interiors sectors.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers at retailers, educational institutions, department stores, and garden centres.
  • Conduct market research to identify emerging trends, competitive offerings, and potential areas for growth.
  • Collaborate with the marketing team to develop compelling sales and promotional materials.
  • Deliver persuasive sales presentations and negotiate contracts and pricing agreements to ensure profitability.
  • Monitor sales performance and provide regular reports to senior management on progress and achievements.


  • Proven track record of success in business development, preferably within the business supplies industry.
  • Strong understanding of the stationery, hygiene, workwear, and interiors sectors is highly desirable.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
  • Self-motivated and target-driven with a passion for driving sales and achieving results.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
  • Willingness to travel as required, with a valid driver’s license.
