MacGregor Black is partnering with a highly established, privately owned consumer business to appoint a Chief Executive Officer.

The business operates within the luxury consumer space, with a strong international e-commerce proposition, extensive multi-brand relationships and a complex product portfolio.

This is a high-profile leadership opportunity for a commercially driven CEO to lead the business through its next phase of development, working closely with ownership and the Board to drive performance, strengthen the proposition and build on its international presence.

The Role
Reporting to the ownership and Board, the CEO will take overall responsibility for the strategic, commercial and operational direction of the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Taking full P&L responsibility for an international, e-commerce-led operation.
• Setting and delivering the commercial strategy and driving sustainable growth.
• Developing the multi-brand proposition and relationships with key brand partners.
• Driving performance across a complex, high-SKU product portfolio.
• Leading the continued development of the e-commerce and digital proposition.
• Providing strong leadership across commercial, operational, finance and technology functions.
• Building organisational capability, culture and accountability.
• Working closely with the owners and Board on strategic priorities and investment.

About You
We are looking for an experienced CEO, Managing Director or senior commercial leader with a proven track record within e-commerce, luxury, fashion or multi-brand consumer businesses.

You will ideally bring:

• Significant e-commerce and digital experience, with genuine understanding of the online customer journey and commercial drivers.
• Experience operating within a multi-brand environment.
• Strong understanding of high-SKU businesses, including inventory, merchandising, margin and trading performance.
• Experience within luxury, premium fashion or another brand-led consumer category.
• Proven P&L and commercial leadership experience.
• Strong financial and operational acumen.
• Experience leading businesses through periods of significant change, development or transformation.
• The credibility and maturity to operate closely with owners and Board-level stakeholders within a privately owned business.
