Field Merchandiser

Are you available to travel across the North of England on a 4 day a week basis and working 1 day from home?

MacGregor Black have partnered with a leading Outdoor Goods Brand looking for their Field Merchandiser, covering the North of England.

Key Attributes

  • Complete POS unitary installations in new and existing Merchants and Agricultural locations.
  • Manage existing area’s including tidy, repair, update displays, and ranges merchandised.
  • Promotional Marketing and Display Material implemented & installed in line with National and Regional Promotional Strategies.
  • Top-up Orders generated and received for replenishing in store displays.
  • Support, advice and service provided to store locations.
  • Product training and introduction to new styles carried out.
  • Attend and support trade events in store locations.
  • Attend Trade Events and support Regional and National Exhibitions.
  • Strong sustainable business relationships established with customers in the designated area.
  • Update reports produced at regular intervals.
  • Good administration and record keeping, to maximise efficiency and service.

What are we looking for?

  • Full UK driving licence.
  • Knowledge or understanding of the Merchant & Agricultural sector is desirable but not essential.
  • Maintain knowledge of competitors and market conditions.
  • Up to date knowledge of local customer base and market trend conditions.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills.
  • Friendly and personable relationship builder.
  • Able and comfortable to work in an ever-changing work environment.
  • Team player and able to support when called upon.
  • Meticulous attention to detail.
  • Able to multitask with a flexible and adaptable attitude.
  • Confident with independent working, organised and able to manage own workload.
  • Forward planner, able to manage own diary and keep to a schedule.
  • Customer service and support focussed.
  • Trustworthy and reliable.
  • Able to travel and stay overnight on a regular basis.
  • Confident user of the Microsoft Office package.
