MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a Leading Consumer Goods business, on the search for a IT Business Solutions Analyst. This is a permanent role based in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.

As the IT Business Solutions Analyst, you will have overall responsibility for delivering digital solutions to the Digital Marketing team. This position has a fantastic opportunity to influence way of working with best-in-class technologies, bringing efficiency to the business, and providing best experience to Consumers/Customers who are interacting with the business.
The Business Solution Analyst will have a key focus and expertise on the Salesforce platform and other digital solutions in the ecosystem used by Digital Marketing (CRM, Paid Media, social media …). This role requires a deep understanding of Salesforce Marketing Cloud functionalities (or similar systems), business processes and the ability to collaborate with stakeholders to drive business value.
As a key member of the IT team, the candidate will play a crucial role in managing business processes, identifying opportunities for improvement, defining roadmaps, configuring, integrating, designing, and developing effective solutions and architecture using Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other satellite solutions and technologies.
Key Responsibilities:
Gathering, Analysis and Solution Design

  • Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for Salesforce Marketing Cloud and other satellite systems.
  • Translate business requirements into technical specifications and solutions with support from 3rd party partners when needed.
  • Design and propose innovative solutions based on Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and other satellite systems to address business needs.
  • Develop detailed functional specifications, data models, and process flows to guide the development and implementation of solutions.

Salesforce Configuration and Customization

  • Configure and customize Salesforce Marketing Cloud (including Advertising Studio, Personalization Studio, Cloud Intelligence) to meet digital marketing needs.
  • Work closely with developers to ensure the proper implementation of custom code and integrations and possibly take over some basic tasks in that matter.

System Integration

  • Work closely with other IT Teams and partners to design and implement seamless integrations between Salesforce and other core systems.
  • Manage and troubleshoot integration issues, working with relevant teams to resolve issues promptly.

Testing & Documentation

  • Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and reliability of solutions provided.
  • Create and maintain documentation of system configurations, customizations, and integrations.

User Support

  • Provide ongoing support and address user inquiries and issues related to Salesforce applications.
  • Collaborate with 3rd parties for issues escalation and handling.

Continuous Improvement

  • Stay abreast of Salesforce updates, features, and best practices.
  • Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement and system optimization.

Project Management

  • Prepare and manage project schedule to ensure deadlines and milestones are achieved.
  • Develops and executes a work plan the agile way.
  • Perform changes, issues, risks management.
  • Coordinate internal and external resources to ensure project needs are addressed and effectively assign tasks and deliverables to team members based upon their abilities.
  • Communicate project progress.


What are we looking for:

  • Agile Project management experience.
  • Good Knowledge and experience within Salesforce Marketing Cloud (Intelligence, Engagement, Data Platform, Personalization).
  • Knowledge within other Salesforce clouds (Core, Sales, Service and eventually Commerce cloud).
  • E-commerce experience/understanding.
  • CRM, social media, Paid Media, Analytics, CMS, SEO experience/understanding.
  • Familiarity with Agile methodology.
  • Strong understanding on Cloud integration technologies, if possible, in a MACH set up
  • Hands-on and independently working.
  • Think strategically and creatively while maintaining a practical and hands-on approach.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to work collaboratively with users and internal/external partners.
  • Ability to work independently and effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • First Experience in programming is a plus (Marketing Cloud Personalization).
  • English – written and spoken.
