MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a growing beauty/gifting company, on the search for National Account Manager. This is a permanent role based in London, England.

As the National Account Manager, you will be responsible for managing key accounts within the beauty and gifting sector, with a primary focus on the grocery channel. Leveraging your extensive experience in the industry, you will develop and execute strategic plans to maximise sales, expand market share, and strengthen partnerships with national grocery chains.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement comprehensive account plans to achieve sales targets and increase market penetration within the grocery sector.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders at national grocery chains, including buyers and category managers.
  • Analyse market trends, competitive landscape, and consumer insights to identify opportunities for growth and innovation.
  • Negotiate pricing, promotions, and terms of agreements to ensure profitability and mutual success for both the company and its retail partners.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to drive alignment and execution of account strategies.
  • Monitor and analyse sales performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement corrective actions as needed.
  • Stay abreast of industry developments, emerging trends, and competitor activities to inform strategic decision-making and maintain a competitive edge in the market.

What are we looking for?
 

  1. Minimum of 5 years of experience in national account management within the beauty or gifting industry, with a proven track record of success in the grocery channel.
  2. Strong understanding of retail dynamics, category management principles, and consumer behaviour within the beauty and gifting categories.
  3. Exceptional negotiation, communication, and presentation skills, with the ability to influence and build rapport with key stakeholders.
  4. Strategic thinker with analytical capabilities to assess market data, develop insights, and formulate actionable plans.
  5. Proven ability to thrive in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment, with a high degree of adaptability and resilience.
