MacGregor Black is currently partnering with a Toy Company, on the search for Senior Key Account Manager. This is a permanent role based in Netherlands/Germany.
As the Senior Key Account Manager, you will have experience working in the German and Polish markets, ideally within the toy and retail sectors. The successful candidate will be responsible for nurturing and expanding relationships with key accounts, driving revenue growth, and strategically positioning our company for long-term success in these markets.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute strategic account plans to achieve sales targets and maximise revenue growth within the European markets.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong, long-lasting relationships with key accounts, including retailers and distributors, by understanding their business needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Identify and capitalise on new business opportunities within the toy, grocery, and retail sectors, leveraging market insights and industry trends.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal teams, including sales, marketing, and product development, to ensure alignment and support for key account initiatives.
  • Negotiate contracts and agreements with key accounts, ensuring mutually beneficial terms and conditions.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform strategic decision-making and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular reporting and analysis of key account performance metrics, including sales forecasts, revenue projections, and market share.

What are we looking for?

  • Proven track record of success in key account management, with a minimum of 5 years of experience in the Toy industry.
  • Solid understanding of the toy, grocery, and retail industry, including market dynamics, customer segments, and distribution channels.
  • Strong negotiation skills and ability to influence key stakeholders at all levels of the organisation.
  • Strategic mindset with a focus on driving results and exceeding targets
