MacGregor Black are proudly partnering with a Drinks Company on the search for a Commercial Manager. This is a permanent role based in London.

 

Key Responsibilities

 

  • Establish and nurture strong, productive relationships with existing distributors globally. Evaluate and optimise distributor performance through regular reviews, setting clear objectives and KPIs.
  • Identify and secure new distribution partners in untapped markets globally, aligning with brand strategy.
  • Develop and implement effective sales strategies and promotional plans to achieve and exceed sales targets in the designated regions.
  • Ensure that all distributors are fully trained and equipped to represent the company’s brands effectively, maintaining high standards of brand presentation and visibility.
  • Conduct comprehensive market analysis to understand trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory changes that could impact the business. Utilise insights to inform strategic decisions and adapt tactics as necessary.
  • Work closely with the marketing team to align sales strategies with marketing campaigns, ensuring cohesive brand messaging and maximised impact of promotional activities.
  • Provide accurate and timely reports on sales performance, market insights, and distributor activities to senior management.
  • Reporting into the board
  • Planning and execution of financial plan in each market

 

What are we looking for?

 

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, or related field.
  • Proven experience (5+ years) in sales or commercial roles within the spirits or beverages industry, with a strong track record of achieving sales targets.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage effectively with a diverse range of stakeholders.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the capacity to translate data into actionable strategies.
  • Exceptional communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to travel frequently.
  • Fluent in English, with proficiency in French highly desirable.
