MacGregor Black are currently supporting a Global Spirits Distributor with one of the best portfolios on the market, on the search for a Key Account Manager to join their growing team. This is a permanent role based in London.

What You’ll Do
 

  • Develop and execute a strategic sales plan to achieve sales targets, increase brand visibility, and expand market share within the on-trade sector.
  • Identify and prioritise key on-trade accounts, including bars, restaurants, hotels, and event venues, that align with the focus brands.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key decision-makers, bartenders, and influencers within the on-trade accounts to drive sales and brand advocacy.
  • Conduct regular visits to on-trade accounts, host training sessions and increase menu listings.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for business growth and improvement.
  • Prepare and deliver sales presentations, proposals, and reports to on-trade partners and internal stakeholders.
  • Manage and maintain accurate records of account interactions, sales activities, and performance metrics using CRM tools.
  • Participate in industry events, trade shows, and networking opportunities to increase brand visibility.
  • Work closely with the Route to Market to ensure timely and accurate product delivery to on-trade accounts.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to provide insights and feedback from the market to contribute to product development and business strategy.

What You’ll Need
 

  • Proven experience (3+ years) in on-trade sales, account management, or ambassadorial roles, preferably in the spirits or alcohol sector.
  • Strong understanding of the Premium on-trade landscape, including key players, trends, and consumer preferences.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to build rapport and establish credibility with diverse stakeholders.
  • Self-motivated and results-driven with a proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
  • Creative thinker with the ability to develop and execute innovative sales and marketing strategies.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools, Microsoft Office suite, and sales performance tracking software.
  • Willingness to travel frequently within the designated territory and attend industry events as required.
  • Enthusiasm for spirits.

Salary up to £45k, dependant on experience.
