Regional Sales Manager – Bristol

MacGregor Black are partnering with Leading Drinks business on the search for a Regional Sales Manager. This is a permanent role based in the Bristol.


As the Regional Sales Manager, you will focus will be on building strong relationships and winning business with targeted on-trade customers, including bars, restaurants, hotels, clubs, and other hospitality establishments.


Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement effective strategies to drive profitability within your region that meets or exceeds targets as part of the UK business plan.
  • Build and manage an effective business pipeline through a combination of new customer acquisition and effective account management.
  • Identify and engage with potential on-trade customers to expand the customer base.
  • impactful sales, leads negotiations and secure contracts with new customers.
  • Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with on-trade customers. Understand their needs, preferences, and pain points to provide exceptional customer service and support. Proactively address any issues to ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Proactively network with brand owners and distributor field sales teams to gain market intelligence, build trade awareness with key on-trade influencers and decision-makers.
  • Monitor market trends, industry developments, and competitive landscape to stay informed about changes that may impact the on-trade sector. Prepare regular reports on sales performance, market insights, and customer feedback.
  • Work proactively with internal teams such as credit control, transport and sales operations to help maintain industry-leading level of customer service.


What are we looking for?

  • Proven track record of success in business development, sales, or account management within the on-trade sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
  • Strong understanding of the on-trade market, including trends, challenges, and opportunities.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.
  • Strategic thinking and problem-solving capabilities.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently.
  • Proficiency in using CRM software and other relevant sales tools.
  • Willingness to travel as required to meet with customers and attend industry events.
