Sales Director – EMEA

Macgregor Black are partnering with a trusted, innovative brand within the baby category, on their search for a Sales Director. This is a permanent Remote based role.

As the Sales Director, you will report into the General Manager based in the US  and play a core part of the team with a focus on building retailer partnerships and on-boarding distributors where relevant. You will shape the go-to-market strategy across all wholesale channels, making an impact in setting the foundations for a market-leading presence across EMEA ensuring localised needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish the brands presence with new key retailer accounts across the EMEA territory.
  • Work with local distributors where relevant and trade partners to achieved YOY growth across all wholesale channels.
  • Lead development of differentiated channel specific strategies and work with GM to set growth-focused revenue targets and trade spend strategies that meet global revenue and gross profit budgets.
  • Lead the recruitment strategy across sales and marketing within key countries.
  • Support the growth of the online business as well as bricks and mortar, understanding the key to delivering on both sides
  • Day-to-day responsibility over order management, tactical meetings and presentations, promotional planning, seasonal product launches and budget tracking
  • Attend appropriate trade and consumer shows

What are we looking for?

  • Established sales experience in branded consumer goods (+5 years), ideally within the baby/toddler category.
  • Experience establishing brands into new markets, developing them to be leaders in their category.
  • A strong communicator, ability to report in a clear and efficient way to the US HQ
  • People orientated individual, who can build, lead and coach a team who are all striving for the same outcome
  • Strong customer focus and relationship building skills, with a passion for delivering the best outcome for the end consumer.
