MacGregor Black are partnering with a leading consumer brand on the search for a Supply Chain Director. This is a PERM role based in the Netherlands.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manages product flow through the Service Centre in a cost efficient and effective manner while providing a high quality of service, based on the needs of the organisation.
  • To achieve this objective, this position is responsible for developing strong partnerships with Planning and Allocation, Supply Chain, Shortage Control, Human Resources and other stakeholders.
  • Manages Maintenance within the Service Centre to support and improve the operational processes and ensure minimal disruptions.
  • Develops and manages the budget for Operations.
  • Responsibility for procurement of Service Centre equipment and supplies.
  • Responsible for ensuring Shortage Control related procedures are followed to keep inventory level accurate.
  • Ensures the Service Centre can operate at all times and fully support the divisional requirements.
  • Manages projects relative to the Service Centre, starting from problem analysis, through specification, conceptual and detailed design until contract management, installation, and completion.
  • Defines and communicates motivating goals, identifies training needs, coaches, motivates and develops the team to ensure performance growth within the department.  Holds team accountable for expected results. Establishes and maintains a high quality skilled cross trained workforce.
  • Responsible for ensuring compliance with Health and Safety regulations within the work unit.

What are we looking for?

  • Degree educated
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in Logistics and / or Supply Chain.  Minimum of 4 years of management experience.
  • Proven ability to “raise the bar” in terms of performance and revenue growth, within a fast-paced environment.
  • Team player with strong leadership skills and able to build partnerships.
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills.
  • Result oriented and CI focussed.
  • Dutch and English speaking.

Salary – Up to €120k + package
